Dr. Alex Isailovic has been a medical practitioner since 1990. She has completed her training in Psychiatry in Brisbane. In 2003 she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, and a staff psychiatrist at the High-Security Unit, the Park Centre for Mental Health, where she gained extensive experience in medico-legal psychiatry and psychiatric rehabilitation. Since 2005 she has been working as a Consultant Psychiatrist at the New Farm Clinic, Brisbane. She was contracted by a national based medico-legal company as an independent examiner, before founding Medilegal. She is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Queensland and a founding member of the Forensic Faculty of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. She is certified in conducting PI assessments using GEPI, PIRS, AMA-5,Comcare and GARP instruments. She has completed training for independent medical examiners for Comcare, Department of Veterans’ Affairs,Workcover NSW and Motor Accidents Authority NSW.
